    1JZ Test fit Bonneville mounts A++ !!

    So I decided while i'm waiting for the front sump I might as well give them a test fit . The mounts were no problem to install so no write up required if you have reached this stage of the swap it's a breeze The pics say the rest and I can't tell you how excited I am just seeing it sitting in my car . lots of work left to do but today was a major step in the right direction. The y pipe will clear the rack just fine and the sway bar is close to the pulley but no worries of making contact .Excuse the dust but theres more going on in the garage than just the swap so clean up will have to wait . Time for a cold beer

    Nice work

    Awesome, just awesome! I know exactly how you feel to finally see your car's new "heart" in place.

    As a side note, how close is your swaybar to the crank pulley anyway, with the car resting on its wheels (not jack stands)?

    Thanks guys

    Dave ... it's still on stands so i'll have to get back to you on that but lets just say it's close. If i'm not comfortable with it i'll put some 1/4" plate under the stock mounts to clear it that extra bit .

    Grant ... look forward to it !! Pics of the progress buddy I wanna see whats goin on.

    Steve.... those mounts look very easy to duplicate with a bit of steel but i can't imagine how long it would have taken me to get it right if I made my own . Well worth the money .

    Man, that engine looks so mint in there, It almost looks like it's supposed to be there ( although it really should have been)
