I have to agree with Mike, its once I actually started look at the options that the 5 lug conversion discouraged me, and I had a lot of the parts purchased already to do it :/

I redrilled my 5 bolt front brake swap to 4 bolt and I see what I like in wheels.

after i posted that i figured that would be mentioned haha. all in due time, just got a new job so things are looking up.

edit: it creates a huge availability of aftermarket used wheels as well that could be A) run how they are, or B) referb to like new or better. the 240sx guys (who are wheel whores) run a huge range of wheel offsets and widths.

it also depends on ur brake set up. im running the Z32 caliper upgrade front, so that changes the offset slightly, where as the rear is the FC caliper/Z32 rotor which is similar to stock, just need more spoke clearence.

with that brake set up 17x8.5 +16 front and 17x10 +12 rear would be killer.
tires would be 245/40 and 275/40 for my liking

IMO, there are lots of wheels that look good on a 240, that would look 'meh' on a mk2. Now, you can def dig up some interesting 5 lug wheels, but will the width/offset be right?

Obviously, the best 'old school' wheels are generally 4 lug. Most 'new school' wheels might not look perfect on a mk2. I'm all about something different though...so I cant wait to see what you come up with.

i would agree with u on that note. one of the reasons i have not commited to a set of wheels yet.

these were the closest i came to laying down the funds.

ur new set up mike was my goal from the pre-5 lug conversion, tho after seeing a few j-line wheels at shows ive been looking around.

Hmm. JLine is OK I guess...haven't seen anything new out of them...since they popped up on the Internets 5 years ago. I think one member here has them? Dude with 18s in MD or VA?

I think the Sterns and the Weds both look similar to the HRE wheels on Agatha. However, the HRE's are 4 lug and wouldn't fit a "Special Edition" 5 lug MK2
