Brand New Vents
Not sure if this is in the right section so anyways.
I have been toying with the idea of getting brand new JDM/ADM Vents made
up because they really have been getting rare, i think thats my fault because
i keep buying them from the wreckers and supplying the guys in the US from
Celica-GTS.com and here with them... now i dont actually have any for myself
lol...
I sent an email to a Plastic place with a picture of a set of vents and his reply
was...
So, It CAN be done.Hi Jason
My name is Steve
I own Joinit Plastics it can be done, how many, and I do require a sample.
Please give me a ring and we go from there
Steve Leahy
So i am going to take a Set of vents (stealing them from my sisters celica lol)
in to him and find out how much its going to cost, but my Question is how
much interest would there be for Brand New Vents?
Cheers, Jason.

I'd be in for another set

Goo, shipping wasn't too bad for the set he sent me last week. I'd have tolook at the box again, but very reasonable, considering he sent them airmail.
Thanks again Jason, now to take my car apart and install them.84 P-type, 7mgte, too many other mods to list, 20k miles on the chassis. 83 L-type, 7mgte/A340 swap, again, to much to list. 85 P-type, basicaly stock, DD.

Yeah Shipping isnt really much, its usually around $20aus but i found a way
to make it cheaper by using lighter boxes...
Not sure on how much they are going to cost to get made yet but hopefully
it isnt too much, im not sure how the guy is going to deal with the bolts on the
back though lol..
Installing isnt too bad, all i usually do is take off the 2 covers on each side of
the interior and squeeze my hand in through those little holes to put them on
but ive been doing it for ages now so its easier lol

Going to ring the guy today or on Monday, see what he says about it all and
find out about the bolts on the back of the vents.. wonder how we are going
to get around that problem

I think once you meet with the guy and get a price estimate, more people will be able to decide if it's something they'd want. Awesome idea though, I'd personally love a set. Find out how much they'd be to make based on several different production amounts, then based on people's reactions decide if it's worth the trouble.

Exactly, I would be in for a set if they could be made. Let us know.
