    Looks like good work.
I need a welder at home to get projects like that done.

Again, very nice work. Goes to show that not all rusty hatches are doomed to the scrapyard...

Very nice weld. I'm working on my bead to look like that. Did you arc weld? Were using a Lincoln 225 stick welder

    Hey

Be4 you do a repaint i would take out your back window and see if there is any rust around the seal .. I have 2 rear hatches that have had bad rust under the window seals.

    Good Job at the fix..

Jose...nice work, and not to bust your bubble but with all that good work that went into the hatch repair you should have taken the glass out and hit that as well....90% sure its rusted in the window seam as well

I lifted the seal in most areas to check, and I did not see any rust damage. I will though, take out the glass before I bother repainting the hatch. thanks for the suggestions...
