Quick question about 7m-gte coilpacks
do any of you 7m guys/gals know what the 4 wires are pinned for? I'm sure three are from the igniter for firing, so is the other one for 12 volts+? Also, do the coilpacks ground through the mount?
I'm wiring the 6M for wasted spark.

One is +12V the one going to the ignitor is ground. The ignitor pulls the circuit to ground.

Pretty sure it works the same as Mitsu (at least the 3000GT) and Bosch ignitors with an where ECU controls the ignitor.

Yeah, I think what i was looking at had the igniter incorporated into the coilpack (smart coils). That's where the extra wire (ground) came from
