Broke hard and now lights stay on..
I had to brake hard and when I did I heard a sound like a clip coming off something. When I got home I noticed my brake lights not going off.
Is there a clip on the pedal that keeps it off the switch when a foot is not applying pressure?Get some Jesus!................................................ Sorry that all my links broke!

you did not broke hard, you braked hard. Broke is a word which descfibes someone like me that spends all his money on Supra's. Yes, there should be something there to activate the light when pedal is pressed..
Pehaps the switch is stuck or broken.

I think what happened was the plastic piece that runs horizontal to keep the wires off your feet when you drive came down and kept the pedal from fully releasing.
It's fixed now. Still I wonder what the clip sound was... Oh well.Get some Jesus!................................................ Sorry that all my links broke!
