It makes an astounding difference. You'll be very happy once you have it installed.

Anyone know if this is compatible with the cube speed short throw shifter? Looks like the delrin seat bushing won't do much of anything since it doesn't have the ball that the stock shifter has to sit on it. Will the brass insert make a difference at all? I have both the bushing kit and cube shifter but just wanted to run it by you guys before I install either or both

If the Cube shifter is meant to be a direct replacement for the stock shifter, then it should work with Billy's bushing.

All you'll use is the bronze bushing installed in the transmission; the other parts are not used or needed.

You'll be doing the same thing I did when I installed my V3 short shifter that I bought from George at Raptor Racing.

    Awesome, thanks doc!

If anyone is thinking about getting the cube shifter here's a 15% off coupon code if you buy from their website. $132 shipped. Can't beat that!

Found it on a YouTube channel reviewing the shifter

The first page of my "build thread" is here, and you can see what I did to install just the bronze bushing.

I was able to peel the innermost thin metal part out, but to get the harder plastic out I used my Dremel and a sanding drum.
