I think its been pretty well documented in the past most of these ECU chips for Toyotas are nothing more than an expensive decal. For the most part only the Techtom parts are real (& very expensive) hack into the stock ECU and use a daughtercard.

It is probably just one of those change of resistance on the water temp sensor deals... Higher idle what?! Someone who has a bit of money to burn should check it out though. Looks like this one is only for non-tems, non-vacuum advance ecus.

If I had a spare ECU i just might give it a go to find out before someone who can't afford to gets screwed that is if it is BS, or if it is real then let people know that it works.

Look at Kenny's list ---- Nothing remotely close to our ECU. I'd venture a guess, the Supra Turbo, if it is a MKIII, is 89+.

I got to see the $$$ sticker once. The car was dynoed before the ECU was sent out, dynoed when it came back === 0 HP difference. Pretty expensive sticker ...
84 P-type, 7mgte, too many other mods to list, 20k miles on the chassis. 83 L-type, 7mgte/A340 swap, again, to much to list. 85 P-type, basicaly stock, DD.
