1984 Supra PTYPE

1984 Supra Ptype. In GOOD condition. Car has just over 100K...100217 exactly. Not driven much. Here is the story as I know it. Original owner owned it until 1992 or so. Second owner had it until i purchased it. Timing belt was changed at 96k or so and whoever did the job obviously didnt know what he was doing and the motor threw a rod. Car sat for years or so I am told. I purchase the car and it ran but had a rod knock. All the parts are NEW OEM except where noted So I purchase a NEW Short block, had the head redone, installed all NEW OEM gaskets, added a OEM style exhaust, New Heater core, valve, hoses, oil pump, New style Oil pan. Timing Belt, guides, tensioner etc. ALL PARTS ARE NEW OEM with the exception of the heater core. I have installed new WIRES(NGK), plugs, cap, rotor, fuel filter. AC blows cold, compressor is NEW OEM reman, As far as the body is concerned, car had a ECONO style paint job and will eventually need a repaint. I may do it but Im not sure yet. There is NO rust with the exception of the HATCH. Sunroof works fine, All moldings are there and in VERY GOOD Shape. The window moldings are all there but have begun to flake. I have NEW OEM Door Belt Moldings. I have a NEW OEM HATCH that goes with the car should I not paint it. Suspension is old and weak but I have installed new KYB shocks and struts... much better that the OEM ones that were extremely worn. Interior is fairly clean(i wish I could find some nice BLUE OEM floormats) RADIO DOES NOT WORK WELL. Antenna works fine(replaced with Metra Unit....TCS Performance upgrade(thanks) Well thats everything i can pretty much think of. Oh, there is a small dent(very repairable) on the right quarter and that flare is damaged. I have a replacement for it. Pretty much I am done with this project and really want to get to my 87 SR5 Turbo Pickup, so I am selling....I am asking in the 3200 range but CASH talks. PLease note that I am including the HATCH, a SET OF PTYPE wheels(actually 5) Any and every part that I have left that has not sold here or on EBAY. Its actually a pretty sweet deal. I dont think I would hesitate to drive the car long distance. TITLE IS FREE AND CLEAR FLORIDA

I have done the following since I last posted. I have replaced inner and outer tie rods with OEM parts and had the supsension aligned(4wheel alignment)

If you are intersted in pics i can email them. If bought above 3300.00 I will include 4 new tires mounted balanced and installed. I really need to sell so that I can rebuild my turbo motor for my truck. Unfortunately I cant keep 2 projects going at the same time. This is a sweet deal and perfect for a COMPLETE RESTORE or swapping a 2j into her.
