EGR ports/ block off plates
I am just wondering if the egr ports on the intake manifolds are the same for all mk2s. I know they are in different spots, but dont know if the port is the same.
I know you could find block off plates for our cars so does that mean that they should be the same?
Any help is appreciated.

Sorry to come in a little late here. All the block off plates should work in the last motor swap i did 83 into a 85 we used the 83 intake and head to mock up the plates we built for the 83 motor with an 85 head. I’m not sure how these pre-fabbed plates are but the patterns are the same. The only difference i know in the EGR systems that are major is the piping. Unless im mistaken there identical except for routing. And the rain will kill us all
