just installed it today, took about 1.5 hrs. (early morning, so i was a bit tired and sleepy still). the feel and stiffness along with billy's upgraded bushing upgrade is awesome! i have to say, you have to get used to driving again, because i believe (for me) the short throw takes some getting used to. nonetheless awesome product!!! i still dont know how to adjust the height, and if someone does know how please instruct!

Like you thought, two large wrenches. One side holds the handle in the indentations, and you loosen the bottom. Once it's loose you should be able to move it up/down as desired, then retighten.

Too high up though and it becomes unstable due to there not being enough rubber in contact with the center shaft, even once tightened down.

This shifter is BAD-ASS!! Can't sat enough about it...if there is another group buy in the future and you don't have one...GET ONE!!
