    I would like to get one of these but I cant right now. Just purchased the Short Shifter from George and I am trying to save some money for a trip to Taiwan/China/HK

    And I'm thinking of getting the 5m-GE rebuilt while I'm gone (Depending on cost)

    I guess the other way to look at it is "How many would it take if the cost were $299?" After all, anything over $199 is obviously not going toward material or production cost and could go directly back to tooling.

    I was thinking the same thing. It is only money (haha).

    250 is way more that I would guess will go for it. Could advertise in ebay too I imagine, but it would take some time to unload them.

    If I had $40k or so laying around, it wouldn't be an issue...but I'm not a baller like PhilG

    Mike;

    can I do a vote for -50 people...to make up for the people who will vote and not buy it? . Pending 'dealer pricing' I'd consider buying a bunch as the 'exclusive Canadian' retailer.

    Dealer pricing will be sweet. No worries there.

    Someone who can cut a $40k personal check for a run of mk2 Supra parts...Knowing that all wont be sold for 5 years, or at all. All during the worst economy since the Great Depression

    I've noticed that the hood insulator on my '85 is in perfect shape, except in one location just above the fan. Where it seems to be fraying, I assume from the turbulence caused by the fan. I also noticed most modern hood insulators have a shiny foil material in certain locations.

    If there are common spots of wear due to the fan, etc. could we not order some of this material and bond it to our original hoods? Anther location would be above the exhaust manifold. Cost would be considerably cheaper.
