Turtle Wax ICE - Anyone try it?

Ive noticed with the wax im using (Mothers Carnauba Wax) the car noticably feels better but doesnt shine any more than when its freshly washed.

So I decided I would try something new. I've heard some good things about the Tutrle Wax ICE from friends but ive never seen it after its been applied or asked them how long it lasts.

After giving the car a good wash and shammy then letting it sit for a few minutes to make sure its good and dry I applied the Turtle Wax ICE. It went on as if I was rubbing oil on the car and doesn't take much to do the entire car. After letting it sit for 5 minutes as it says to, I wiped it off and was amazed at the finish it left. The car really had a brilliant shine.

Has anyone else had any experience with this product? Id like to know some pro's and con's before I use it again.

I tried it and didn't really like it that much. It didn't seem to last.

Have you used a clay bar on your car recently? That might make a difference to how well the wax works for you...

i agree. though it is really quick and easy to apply, you could probably do it at every wash. i think one of my favorite waxes to use would be the Zymol. leaves a really nice finish. not exactly cheap since its about $15 for the bottle plus you have to buy applicator pads and towels, where the ICE comes with all that for $15. meguires works good too.

im no detailing expert but the ice car wash is not my fav. i do like the quick detailer which i use for water marks when i get to a show or a quick grime mark or something small like that. but there are far better products out there then the ICE line. get on a detailing forum if ur really interested in using some good products. o and the word good or quality dosnt always replace expensive.

I've actually used this on the Yaris a few times...it was cheap and easy to apply. Takes no time to do the whole car. That being said I wouldn't personally use it on my Supra's but for the daily driver it was more than good enough for me.
