staying to cool
My 85 supra 5spd is starting to make a noise idk if it is the trans or what it sounds like the trans is reving high like a 18 wheeler when they are taking off. Also my cooling fan is blowing alot more air than usualy might be that. I dont have a fan shroud on it never have. Its also idels at like 1000. The temp is staying just a little above cold. Before today everything was been running great. I only hear it from the drivers seat when I get on it hard.

something tells me your water temp sensor is broken.. Cars getting hotter and as a result the fan clutch is locking up for more airflow.

Fan clutch could be seized and what you're hearing is the noise generated with the fan running continuously, resulting in lower temp reading. Can you move the fan manually?
