the downside is when you get a hit anywhere on the car, it will crack and look like crap.
It's alway fixable after but you need to respray every time...
    It does look good but...

i wish someone could come up with a wide body kit for our supras!!! bring the front and rear fenders out about 4-6inches !! that would be awesome!!, think of how wide of a tire you could go with!!! all they make is the F1 body kit, i guess. thats all i can find!!

I'm with Nick on the cracking. I much prefer unbolting the damaged part and replacing with another one with minimal paint work involved.

As for widebody options, custom is the only way.

    1) Get a spare pair of front flares from a Celica, mod, and mount/fit to the rear.

    2) Find/cut the fender buldges from a mid-80's Mercury Capri runabout (basically a Mustang) and graft/weld/mold them into the Supra. Should add another 2-3 inches of width.

yea, i probably wouldnt mold them again if i was starting over. especially now with the replacement trim thats now available, which was not available when i decided to mold them(on of the primary reasons).

Newer Tacoma's have a non-notched flare and an angle cut gas door. I have one from the wrecker and whenever bodywork makes it to the top of the list again, I will be trying to change the gas door.
    Supra-less.
