I wanted to go to the PacNW Supra Nationals but I was pretty busy moving from Pullman back to Kirkland and getting started at Lexus of Bellevue again.

She is running again but I'm still not happy with the bottom end of the engine. The crankshaft was just barely within spec according to my micrometer readings and I didn't replace the main bearings while I had it out. I think upgrading the bottom end is coming up soon. Horse Power Freaks sent me an e-mail the other day that got me drooling but It's going to be a while before I have fun money.

I'll have to host another meet before too long. It will be on a Sunday, just like it always is, because I'll be working Saturdays for probably the rest of my life =)

To keep the interested updated; I have a new Forum name (No longer SupraDude117) and I took Agatha's block/crank to the the machine shop (C&D Engine Performance near Totem Lake) today to get evaluated. The sides of the piston bores where the skirts rub had no cross hatching left. I'll be getting some slightly larger JE or Wiseco pistons if the block is salvageable. The new rod bearings I put in looked ok but not great (some light scoring marks). The crank needs to be polished at the very least if not machined back into round. I'll know more by the end of the week when the engine builder gets a chance to look at it.

Just doing a basically stock performance rebuild. Not going to get upgraded rods unless the current ones need to be replaced and then it really depends on the cost of upgraded ones vs stock strength rods. I want this 7M to last about 10 years before I have to take it out and replace it with something else. Not going to do more than 10 PSI because she's going to be my daily driver in a year or two and I need her to be reliable.

With any luck I'll actually make it to the PAC NW nationals this year, or maybe even Vegas! Hah, dream big right?
