    Fusible link car wont start

My 1982 Supra wont start, battery is not dead but a little smoke came from the fuse box(engine bay), ive had the fusible link (Yellow)melt the connection in the box, and have replaced the box and fusible links. I think i have a short , I do have the charge light relay disconnected cause it melted in the past and i have the 90amp alt swap done and also new MSD igniter.
    Any ideas

It kinda weird because its in storage and its getting started every week and it just happened randomly, i do not know if the fuse box connection is melted since the car is not with me.

    Did you jump the battery?
Hooking up the jumper cables backwards will do it.
Check under the fuse box for melted connectors.
I hope your ignitor isn't burned too.

    PM sent.

Yup this happened to me... basically my alternator was shot but we boosted the battery to try and start the thing this summer... battery was fine so it overloaded the system causing the 2nd link to melt and smoke up the fuse box.
Check under neath the box, replace the link
For the headlights... my blue headlight retractor relay was shot. Replaced and fixed my issues
    Good luck
