SAFCs dont really work on 5ms. There was a guy that got a Apexi Neo to work on his car. I forgot to call him and have him explain how he got it to work. Being that my turbo truck uses the same dumb AFM system.

Apexi doesnt show the MK2 supra on their S-AFC or Neo application charts. Its only use in a 5mgte stock ECU setup is to pull/add fuel at wide open throttle, because the AFM is only an on/off switch. Your 82 ECU needs an 82 AFM, because the signal is inverted compared to other ones. 82 ECUs only control fuel, your distributor has a vacumn advance, and because of the "dumb" afm, controlling injector pulse is a no-go. 7MGTE "stock specs" dont apply to you, that system is VERY different from your ECU. You need to either: 1. Use a standalone controller, like a Megasquirt plug and play, which will allow you to customize fuel and timing...or: 2. Use a mechanical add-on like an RRFPR(rising rate FPR) to control fuel. You can use larger injectors, but the stock ECU wont compensate for them off boost, so you will need an added on AFPR to dial in baseline fuel pressure with those. You really should check out the stickied thread in the turbo section put there by Scott(84 ptype), to read up on turbo set-ups. BTW, Ive got a windshield washer tank to replace that "holy" one in your car-PM me sometime.

o wow. ok thanks for the head up. im all over that sticky thread. i love it!
i dont think i can go megasquirt route just because i cant afford tunning for that long of a period. unless it comes with a base map.
but i do have a rrfpr hooked up.
when it comes time in for new mhg and arp studs. hello 11psi and hello megasquirt. LOL
and thanks aaron more stuff just arrived.
woot almost done!

so since i got my coolant lines i connect one end to the coolant lines running underneth the intake manifold. people call it the suicide hose because its a bitch to get too?? is that the hose everyone is talking about? and i return it to a line off the TB. so do i connect both by just buying a T connector and connecting them both??
And the vacume hose.
5/8 i run the bigger one to in front of the trubo after i maf?
and i plugged the smaller one up. is this ok? its running like this now.

They call it the "suicide hose" because when it blows out, you are usually unaware of it until the engine overheats and commits suicide. I had that happen one night, and didn't know it until I saw the TEMP gauge pegged in the red! Miraculously no engine damage, but ended up pulling the whole intake manifold to get that hose off (rusted on original hose).
