    17" Simmons wheels with tires

Here's my original for sale thread with all the specs and pics:

    http://www.celicasupra.com/forums/sh...hlight=simmons

Not much has changed, except that I did put a pair of Michelin Pilot Sport 2's 225/45r17 on the front rims. They were over $500 installed and have about 2000 miles on them now. Still look like new.

I gotta stand at $1500 for this set of old school cool 3-piece wheels. While they do not fit "hella flush" like the current trend, they are not that tucked in on a p-type, it's a period-correct look. They would be flush on a l-type Supra though, and were originally bought for a Datsun 240z, or so I was told so they should fit one of those flush too.

The rears definitely do not rub. They only did initially(and just barely rubbed) as I was driving around on a blown rear driver's side shock for a short period of time.

Bump, and I wanted to add another photo here, this one is pre-lowering springs, but it does show the rears and how much more dish is built into them. They look sweet!!!!! Buy your l-type a late Christmas present!

Beautiful wheels. I really like that the lip is polished but the center is not.

Allright, well things just got a little more interesting. I got a flat on the right rear, caught it right away so the rim isn't damaged. Picked up a big screw, drove it right into the corner of the tire. I got it plugged and the tire does hold air, but there is a buldge in the sidewall.

I had to drive around for a week like this LOL:

The Simmons are all cleaned up now and in plastic bags. Yes there is still rubber on the rear, the driver's side tire has the small scrapes on the inside from rubbing long ago, and now the passenger side is plugged and bulged.

Here's your chance to scoop them up folks!!! Make me an offer, but I can not come down much from $1500. I will do what I can to work with you on price and shipping. I can dismount the rear tires too to make shipping easier. I can also have matching new Michelin Pilot Sport 2's 255/40R17 put on the rears(will cost me a little over $600), but then the price will be $2000 FIRM.

These are great rims, I'm only selling them because I plan on getting some that are much more expensive - my wife will be pleased
