I have to say those thrusters look good without the center caps on. Never been a fan of the fake single lug look. I support you removing the center caps.

Centerlines used to be one of the few affordable ways to get away from 14 inch wheels-Times have changed, and we have more choice now than ever for MKII wheels. Some people just plain like the look, also. I should be the owner of a blue two tone right now-after I passed on buying it, some dude named Mark bought it, and stuffed a 2JZ under the hood-Its the one that got away, LOL.

Heres a good question to folks! I need to get some touch up paint in both the lighter and darker blue colors for the stock 2 tone blue 84' supra. Anyone know if its easy to find a close match for both colors?

Id probebly go to canadian tire to look but didnt know if there color match book will have the supra in it...

my 85 was 2 tone blue/silver before a previous owner repainted it. im going to repaint it the dark blue metalic, and then if n can get the sides taped off correctly, ill add the silver on the sides. not gonna be easy since my driver side door and front fender have now been replaced, so no line behind the moulding to follow to get it taped off properly.

Just a long process of measuring the other side of the car and transfering the measurements to the drivers side? Will be a PITA but worth it in the end im sure!

well the rear of the car still has the lines behind the moulding. im hoping a straigh edge and painters tape will get it done. who knows. might just leave it the solid dark blue metalic color. the interior is kinda shot now too from the fl sun. car runs perfect but man does it need cosmetics bad! lol

Ahh dont we all. With some time I think you will be fine laying out the design you want. Just double check it a lot How do the lines turn out after using painters tape? The edge that is, i guess it would be build up a bit once the tape is removed, does it just require a good wet sand to make the transition from the light blue to dark blue smooth?
