Get the shoes and any hardware kits FIRST. AND get some synthetic black"Moly" grease for brakes, too. Lube up the pads with too, as long as you are in there. If the pads are OK,buy the hardware kits foor the pads, also.

http://www.r1concepts.com/ is the only place ive seen to get the e-brake shoes... all other parts should be relatively easily sourced from the usual parts chains...

So I finally got around to opening my right side rotor and lo and behold, the springs, seats and pins had fallen apart... I took the rotor off and had all these mangled bits come out, lol I was stumped. when I finally put it together in my hands, 4 springs and 4 spring seats basically.

ordered my parts from Toyota and hopefully by Friday I can get them all together and work on the brakes by the weekend... good thing I didn't sell the AE101 yet, I'm getting overnight parts from California.

Cool. Ya my rear brakes are making a lot of noise when I park on a slope (driveway). The car doesn't want to sit stationary so the rear brakes makes grinding noise until it finally stops
