Georgia Supra Meet 5/5 - Suggestions?

www.csquaredperformance.com
***We will be meeting at the skylift lot***
Addresses – I tested both of the following “addresses”, and they both
show up up on Google maps and my phone navigation.
The Park:
Stone Mountain Park
U.S. Highway 78 East, Exit 8
Stone Mountain, GA 30087
The skylift lot (this is the exact location we’ll be meeting) :
GA 30086 (Stone Mountain Park Skylift)
Directions to 78:
http://www.stonemountainpark.com/map...irections.aspx
Directions from 78:
-US 78 east (stone mountain highway)
-Take exit 8 which is/becomes Jefferson Davis Dr.
-Bear left to Robert E. Lee BLVD.
-Right on Memorial Hall Circle (first big lot on your right)
Map of the park:
http://www.stonemountainpark.com/map...p-of-park.aspx
Keep in mind we may eventually move to a more secluded lot if it is
crowded, but feel free to call me if you can’t find us (four-oh-for-three-one-seven-for-six-ate-six). It’s spelled out oddly so my phone doesn’t get blown up with spam calls/texts. I should be there a little bit early as well.Last edited by CRAMERIZKING; 05-03-2012 at 09:02 PM.

Was one of those meets ever at the Varsity downtown? I seem to remember going to one with my fresh 7MGTE swapped MK2 back in the day when I went to GT.
I should be able to make it, but won't really know until the week before.
Stone Mountain is $10 to get in if I remember. I would prefer this over Andretti, but would still probably come. I'll mark it on the calendar and check your link the week before.

I'm Feeling Stone Mountain More So Too, the only thing is which lot to meet at

The Lot Circled in Red is the largest and usually most vacant lot, but it is by the park police station so im not sure.
Green is the main lot that most people that visit the mountain use.
Orange is a lot that can park about 30 cars, but seeing as it will be on a saturday, people are bound to be there on account of the play ground.
Grey is a lot that ive noticed a couple times. it can park over 40 cars in the center and it has spots on the sides too, im not aware what the lot was put there for orginally, but i dont usually see it used much.
Blue is the sky lifts lot, it has an extremely large lot to the rear that is usually left untouched seeing as not many people have been using the lift (well from what ive seein in my visits).
Purple is another large lot, but it is also a popular lot for bikers to park their cars and campers and other random people.

Yeah i would personally prefer stone mountain but i worry about it being so far from atlanta. Liljup... of course you prefer stone mountain, its probably right down the block from you. Ha. None the less, can we set up a bbq anywhere in there or are there certain designated spots? I used to live off 78 in snellville and have been there many times, but i cant remember.
John, we did a few at turner in the lot where the old field used to be. We may have met, but i have a terrible memory.

I just left the park. they said that all areas beside the lots that have tables usually have a grill beside them and they have no problem with grilling and everything in those areas. the only thing about that is the picnic areas are towards more popular lots, or not near a lot at all
