lol, nothing like getting a grant right before you get out of school, FUN MONEY!!!!

ok well since i didnt make the car show due to unfortunate problems and i did have to work this morning, im finally started the transplant, here is where im at as of right now, started at 11:30 this morning.
things going into the car(just a recap)

engine tear down process

hood off

Intake

Exhaust


Intake continued





all intake off

Motor coming out!!!!



ALMOST THERE!!!

OH yeah..!

hmmm.... i think something is missing?

Had to take a small break and refuel myself with some pizza and beer

will head back out to start the process backwards

Sorry I havent been able to help. My 3 day weekends have turned into 1 day weekends cause of my schedule at Lexus...workin my ass off...between school and work pullin almost 13 hours days...and then I only have sunday to get ALL my own shit done...house, cars, etc. hopefully things will calm down here soon and I can give ya a hand wrapping it up .

hey i hear ya man, i appreciate the help in thought though. if you have time tomorrow come on by, hopefully i will have the engine set in and started tomorrow afternoon and get it driving a little to start a little bit of tuning. glad the lexus thing is working out for ya but i remember how things get chaotic with a job and stil going to school, stuff with the house...
been there hate that lol. once im done it will be my turn to come help ya if you need it.

well got a lot more done today, only thing left to do in the morning is finish wiring in the wideband and start her up!

now just need to get the car going in the morning and start tuning,check for leaks, break some tires! i will try to remember to get a start up video and maybe one of some of the things i do to tune this beast.

Last I knew he had it going and ran great (brought it by and let me rip around with my old motor) but was planning on dropping it into a newly acquired 84 shell so he could go diypnp.

yep scott is right, i have a DIYPNP in my 84 now running 12lbs boost running amazing!!!!! i will get some updated pictures with the new shell and other designs ive done with the car/motor. work has been crazy since i got a new job painting airplanes at the airport here in spokane so lately i havent had much time to play on the forums or even meet up with scott for him to check out the diypnp system or just to have fun ripping around in the car since im sure he miss's playing in this. speaking of which SCOTT IS THE 2JZ DONE?!?!?! lol
