I'm with you man. I pushed mine WAY too hard this weekend, and I can feel it slipping really bad this morning. Trans fluid is good - level and color. But 3rd gear is slipping so bad that it's very difficult to get on the freeway. 4th gear grabs and she's off. but if it downshifts, it just revs and revs.
My buddy says it's the clutch disks. However, I've watched him rebuild a transmission and I do NOT recommend it for anyone who doesn't know exactly what they're doing. Damn things are filled with black magic and pixi dust.
Having said that, I do know of rebuild kits.

yea, i have rebuilt a couple transmission when i went to school, not to hard just a matter of putting everything in the way it comes out, but my trans problem was alot worse, i went to pass someone one the freeway, gave it half throttle and CLUNK very loud and only 1 time felt it thru the whole car, and now it wont move at all, motor runs but i have no reverse, no drive in any position

WOAH.
I can't imagine what happened inside! You're certainly going to need more than a rebuild kit. I hope a fellow member can come through for you.
