7mgte Asking price.
I'm looking to buy a 7mgte engine. This guy
is asking for an asking price but I'm not sure how much I should put down on this engine. My budget is $600. And I'm not sure if that's a reasonable asking price. Help me out guys. He's sending me more pics of the engine and I'll be giving him an asking price on saturday.HTML Code:http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/3086804594.html

If you offer that much, the seller will either ignore you, or laugh at you.

around my neck of the woods they go for $500 on craigslist fairly often. usually in fair rebuildable condition with most accessories. just a few months ago i actually snagged a 7mgte WITH an R-154 for $500. i had to take it out of the car in the guys driveway but still, $500!
just goes to show that it is always worth a try.
Word to the wise, if AT ALL POSSIBLE make the offer To / in front off his wife or girlfriend. they usually dont like to hear their man turn down $500 for something that takes up the only other parking spot in the garage... lolThe Supra is gone... What a fun project!

I don't know much about engines and pricing them, that is why I'm asking you all. I figured $600 would be too low. Thanks anyways.
