Trust me something turns off the distributor and the fuel pump cuz I left the filter lose just a bit so that I know when that starts leaking, the spark comes on ,and I con try to start it ,but it backfires .

Ok I don't know where to start here. You need to proof read your post. Its hard to understand what you are saying. I am not perfect either but it goes a long way.

First pull the coil wire from the dizzy end. And test it with the screw driver put a screw driver to the tip of it Crank the car if you see a spark the coil is working. Then pull a plug wire out of the dizzy and test it the same.

Listen for the fuel pump to turn when you turn the key to the on position.

But as said before if you are getting a backfire. You have to be Getting some spark and fuel.
Do your cams line up ? Is your crank lined up? Connector pumped?

Ok I did the loser thing ,but im more shore about it . I gave a semi whatever paintgun to this dude he was about 50 , and he sticks his finger in spark plug hole has me crank it and found a point and compression stroke ,he moves the distributor about 2teeth ,oh and sead this car will shut of the fuel pump if pressure is not met .so he took one look at the wires and knew instantly thay were from the automatic transmittion ,and placed a wire b+ to a black w red line wire, boom the fuckin thing comes on oh and stuck a crescent wrench in the amf , from allthat he found out the( damper assy )is broken or sticking , I mean, am I right ? What did miss , ?
