    HID's for fog lights??

So I love driving with my running lights on so I thought why not get hid's for my fog lights instead of high wattage piaa's or something like that. I found HID kits for h3's that are only like 35$ and would be pretty awesome! What cha all think? errrrr

Word. But you gotta remove the deflectors in the fog light housings.

Dragon on a good day I can remove the reflector in less than 8 minutes...wish I had done this mod 20 years ago... modded "driving lights" are much better than the "OEM" fogs!!

Ha nice! I gotta find some time and wire them up to driving lights. I am digging my yellows... gives it a vintage look. But these HID's are also very nice!

No, not really. Just wire the power and ground for the ballast to the fog light power and ground.

Unless the factory fog light harness doesn't supply enough current for the ballast, then a relay harness would be required. Someone else can chime in on this though, I haven't put HID's in my fogs yet so I'm unsure if the wiring is enough for the ballast or not.
