    7mgte bov issue

So, I used to have a stock ct26 with a knockoff tial bov, the bov made a really loud woosh when it was set to 8psi. After installing a 57trim ct26 (upgraded wastegate aswell) and moving the boost up to 10psi it flutters instead of dumping the air at one time. Since it's a knockoff the screw on top adjusts nothing. Maybe I just need to get a bov with a better spring? If so what would you guys recomend? Thankyou!

    Read Post #2...

Seriously though thats the problem with alot of these Knockoffs. There Poorly built and usually last a fraction of the time that a genuine one will last. Same effects happen with the HKS BOVs. Best thing to do is purchase a Genuine one that will fit. Better that then the Alternative... Broken BOV or Broken 57 Trim Turbo... You decide

Didn't initially buy it so don't really appreciate that comment. It came with the car when I bought it, so i figured why not try and use it again since it worked fine on the old turbo. I'm thinking of getting a greddy bov, but I was just wondering what you guys run on your 7m's that work well. Thanks again for the responses though

    Buy from reliable source...
    /story.

Stay away from somewhere that offers them at too good to be true prices/ebay/chinastores and you will get a genuine one.

Make sure it has true Stamped hks logo, no sticker/paint.
