Wow, John, you totally munched your 3rd gear! Congrats on getting longest distance trophy. Nothing beats hanging out with great guys and gals at this meet. Dean and others sure go out of their way to make everything worthwhile.

Josh...it was great to finally meet you. Thanks for making the long drive down and YES we hope to have you for the whole meet next year.
Billy...I can't tell you how baddass it was to have you up. I couldn't tell you how many years I've been "nagging" to get you here. I guess now it's time to put my money where my mouth is and do the same right?
John, that was awesome seeing you, your car and to top it off to see your car on the track. Thanks for making the long drive to spend some time with us.
I'm going to hold you to that Jr!!
Ask and you shall received, sorry it too me so long D. Thanks soooo much for a ride in this amazing machine...I wish more of you had the chance to get in this beast. You'd be shocked to find out it's a 5MGTE at stock boost, it pulls soooo hard. GREAT work D.
Big Poppie...these meets wouldn't be the same without you so thanks for coming. I had a GREAT time especially Sunday night, sometimes it really sucks when the meet is over...but sometimes it rocks as all you're left with is a few die hards that refuse to let it die. We sat and had coffee till past 2am before we all realized that it's getting way too late considering we each had about 1.5hrs of driving a head of us.
Not embarassing at all Josh, it's a beautiful machine and anyone else bringing their MK1 would have a hard time beating you. Thanks again and hopefully the boys weren't too upset they didn't win the GoPro2 HD...you have to admit to...it couldn't have gone to a better person!!
John...every time someone breaks something at a meet it just solidifies how badass this community is. It really sucks that you busted your car here, but in many ways it doesn't as I always feel it both brings us all closer together and gives us something to talk about for years on end. I can't tell you how happy we are that despite your troubles you had a good time, we really hope that means that some time in the future we will see you here again as I can PROMISE you that you will be seeing us down there.
Vic, many of these people have you to thank too for getting back on the road so take a bow my friend!!
Ok...even though I had my DSLR and my gopro I someone ended up not doing much with either
. I did manage to attache the gopro to a couple of cars so here are the video's:

Wow! What a great meet.
First, thanks to all of the organizers who put in all of the thankless hours needed to organize a meet like this. This doesn`t just happen on it`s own, it`s a lot of work to make this all happen, and we all appreciate it. George, Steve, Phil, Rupinder, Bob, Ben, and all of the others.... THANK YOU!!! You all make this an event that`s worth coming out to every year, year after year. I have soooo much fun at the track with my race car (can you see the smile on my face through the helmet?), and I hope my passengers all had fun as well. A special thanks for voting for me for the ``Executive Choice Award`` this year. I really appreciate that honour.
Thanks to all of the people that travelled so far to join us for this weekend of Supra fun. Without you, it would just be another monthly meet, which is fun enough, but you all make it 5 times more fun. John, Billy, CJ, Jon, JimK, Chris, JoeB, you guys are really dedicated Supra fans. I hope you enjoyed yourselves and we made the trip worthwhile. Hoping to see you all next year.
John, I`m glad you made it home with that `old transmission` I was confident it would get you home, if you could lay off the boost a bit! I`m happy to read that you had fun, despite your woes, and look forward to seeing you back up here again next year!
Funny story.... About two weeks before the meet, BillyM PM`d me, asking me to call him regarding the meet. I called him and we spoke on the phone for about half an hour. He asked about things to do for his and John`s better halves and I gave him a few ideas of tourist attractions, etc. Then, he asked me, ``If John or I were to have an issue at the track where we broke something, do you think you or someone in the area would have the parts we would need to get back home?`` I thought about that for a few seconds, going through a list of parts in my head, then told Billy that we would be able to take care of them. Sure enough, Billy must have been psychic.
The evenings here at my place are always a blast and I`m glad so many people can make it out to join us. I`d like to thank my better half Kim for not only putting up with our Supra madness, but also for making breakfasts for the crew as well. I think she`s caught the Supra fever after living with me all these years. We have become such a close-knit family that Kim actually looks forward to seeing the cast of characters that come up for the weekend. I think that says a lot for the great people that come up for this meet year after year.
I need to give a huge thanks to the transmission crew who dove under my race car to re- and re- the transmission Friday afternoon so that i could have fun at the track for the weekend. Rob and Broseph (Joseph), you guys are the best pit crew anybody could ask for. Then, you guys dove under John`s car Saturday night until 1 am to get-r-done while everybody else was drinking beer. That was an unbelievable die-hard effort, and I know you both suffered for it on Sunday, so thanks a lot! You guys are truly Supra fanatics.
Thanks to Rob for bringing the trailer over for a few guys to sleep in. You made my house larger! Thanks for letting me drive your car too!
CJ, thanks for making the long trek up here to visit all of your brothers. It wouldn`t be the same without YOU my brother. Joe, thanks for the ride home in the MR-2, it`s a sweet machine. Looking forward to seeing you guys all again soon at the next Supra reunion. Evan and Chris, glad you guys could join in the fun. Evan, next year, you can set up your air mattress in the house instead of the garage if you want to....the raccoons might prefer it. Damian, it was great to see you out lapping, we need to get together more often.
Thanks to everybody for making the annual Supra meet so much fun. If it weren`t for you guys and gals, this tradition would have ended years ago, and that would be a real shame!
Dean (Supra owner for 25 years now)

Great seeing you all again and meeting a few new members! It's getting a bit embarrassing winning the MK1 trophy (by default)
, but my boys really get a kick out of it.
