    Interior cover plate.

I have an 85 P-type. On the dash there is a spot with a cover plate over it. Its on the oppisite side of the dome light dimmer, and below the cruise control. can anyone tell me if theres an option that goes there, maby one that was on the L-type or somthing?

Would a trip computer have anything to plug into if I put it in my p type or would I have to wire it in?

More complicated than plug and play for a P-type...there used to be a write up on how to convert a trip computer into a P-type...
somewhat more than the 3 pieces needed from a digi dash...

But yes just the trip comuter with bolt up in the slot for just looks...finding one nowadays is difficult...the last setup I sold went for $120 for the pieces needed...
