Headlights randomly turning off and high beam light appears on the dash.

Hey all,

As the title says, when I'm driving at night, the headlights turn off randomly and the blue high beam light appears on my dash. I have to push the stick forward like I am turning on the high beams, then pull it back. Then the blue light turns off and my headlights come back on. It seems to happen on harder bumps.

Has this happened to anyone? If so, what is the solve? Any information would be great.

I was having the final product of these symptoms recently, in the normal position, no head lights and the blue high beam indicator, high beams would keep the indicator and produce high beams.

I replaced my combo switch. ( Big shout out to Rocky for sending me one)

When I pulled the old one, I found what appeared to be an exposed wire, that may have been causing a short, but I could never determine if that was the cause, as i never plugged the old one back in after cleaning and re-wrapping the wires.

Pull the combo, look for a partially exposed wire, re wrap it.

Ya combo switch. I have been having issues with my 4 ways/hazard. They aren't really working.
I have 3 combo switches lol.
