MK2 supra vs ugly primer honda civic
Went drag racing with my mk2 supra vs a primer honda civic. launch at like 2500 rpm and didnt burn out which was good for a while till his vtech kick on then i lost by a fender the next couple of days past by i notice that my throttle body did not open all the way so i was wondering if my throttle open all the way will i won????? And what was the best rpm to launch and what was the best rpm to shift to the next gear? I have a bone stock 5mge manual If u know that will help... thanks

If that Civic was swapped with a B or K series engine, there's no way you would win in a drag against that thing with a stock MK2.

Vtec kicked in and he was like honnnndaaaaa. Power to weight the civic wins. You need some modifications to take him.
What kind of rest gear ratio do you have? If you plan to drag race go with 4.30 gears.
But really ya if your throttle cable is getting stuck or binds that's never good.Matt K.
