fuel system problem
I Have been restoring my 84 Supra I bought about 6 months ago. I put a new 5mge in it because the other had a rod knocking. everything is working correctly except I am getting too much fuel. it is idling at 2000 rpms and when I drove it, it would stall out at 3000 rpms and reengage when it went below that. I know I'm getting too much fuel into the system but I don't know where except the fuel injectors. I have replaced the fuel pressure regulator already. has anyone had this problem before?

Too much fuel or not enough air. New, clean airfilter?

We already took it out and checked the air flow without the air filter and it still had the same problems. The idle speed is also very sporadic. It will go from 500 rpms to 2000 and eventually cut off. We also just cleaned out the tps and it helped slightly.
