My turbo literaly exploded (video)
Must see video, on the dyno about 2 weeks ago I blew the cold side of my GT4088 into pieces. The turbo was rebuilt and "modified" with a lightened GT42 compressor wheel.

10.27 @134 mph, 93 pump gas, no nitrous
Street driven 2jzgte, GT4088 garrett, custom intake manifold, Q45 throttle body, AEM EMS, TH400 trans, narrowed ford 9" rear, 4:11 gears, Strange spool, 6 pt roll bar, 2 stage nitrous...plus much more

84 P-type auto
12.25 2jz + 100 shot of juice

that is crazy!. i never see a turbo blew up like that before.

We are not sure what exactly the cause was and it is very difficult to find what blew up first since it is just in a bunch of pieces now. Originally Posted by Cap'n 2jz
