WTB: MKII in Edmonton, AB, Canada

I've been away for a number of years, and now that things have settled down I now have some room to stash a car away.

I'm looking for a car that is in decent shape, and safe for the road right at the transaction. Don't take that to think that I'm looking for perfection, just something that won't require thousands of dollars to get it roadworthy and presentable.

Doesn't have to be modded, as a matter of fact, the more clean and stock the better.
I have a cap of about $2500, doesn't mean I'll only spend that, but it also doesn't mean I'll spend that much.
Also willing to travel a few hours out of Edmonton to take a peak at it.

theres a garage called Kar-Tunes on 142nd street, theres been a clean red P-type sitting outside with no license plate for a couple weeks now. might be worth asking if its for sale
