Downshift to 2nd... puff! big oil smoke
what gives? time for valve seals, rings?? or is something else doing this?
only happens when I revmatch then downshift to 2nd to come to a stop, I can do third all day and no puffs.
I took the cat out and put the test pipe on for the track day, coincidence but it was more noticeable since the track day, so I think I've finally done the valve seals or maybe rings.
time to 1uz this bich.

the valve stem seals are common to go out on the 5mges. I rebuild my 5m head and it runs greatRIP Tad Mattle

hmmm i just had to do cam housing seals on my 84 man thats a bich to do...1983 L-type R.I.P.
