This is a turn-key, years of enjoyment car. Dirt cheap insurance makes them great for first cars as well!! It is a 1985 Toyota Celica Supra P-Type, 5-speed manual, 2.8L 5MGE Straight-6. I have owned this car for over 2.5 years now, and have spent more hours than I care to admit cleaning and tending to it. It currently has just over 280,000 Kms, however it doesn't show it or act like it. These engines run forever! I have put just over 11,000 kms on it in 2.5 years. It has received better than average maintanence in the time I have had it, and I can vouch for its previous owner as well.
Here's a pic from a recent Top Tier Imports Meet:

Price: $6500 SAFETIED
The car was professionally appraised by an insurance approved appraiser. The full value, in stock condition (without intake, exhaust, tires/rims, etc.) is $6300 CAD, so I believe my asking price is fair.

The Short Description: The car has a brand new paintjob (August 2011), so the body has no rust anymore, and was stored indoors for the duration of the winter. It is one of the most complete Supras you will find, with a fill black interior. The engine runs great, with recent new plugs and wires. Brand new tires right after I bought it, (General Exclaim UHP), which only have 7000 km on them. It has a new intake and open-element air filter, brand new Billy-M Shift Bushing Kit, 6-1 Pacesetter Header into 2.5" straight exhaust, with a Flo-Pro muffler and chrome tip. Plenty more, so read on if you want to know more.
I completed a full body restoration and paintjob in August of last year (2011). This was a 4-month process during which the car was completely stripped down of all trim and such. Any problem rust areas were completely cut out and replaced with brand new metal by my bodyman. These were sealed and primed. I have plenty of pictures of the whole process. From there, I spent weeks on end refurbishing all trim components, and completely respraying it. I purchased a parts car for the mint front bumper, as the previous one had light damage. I then searched for a mint set of front and rear seats, which currently reside in the car. The car also had a brand new windshield put on (layer separation occurred on the old one). Everything was meticulously put back together. The car was then professionally appraised, by an MPI approved appraiser (this is important, as it's not just a number, but a guarantee that MPI must follow), and it recieved the highest rating possible for a 1985 supra.
Here is a list of everything on, or done to, the car:
Engine/Intake/Exhaust/Transmission:
Rabid Chimp 3" Intake
K&N Cone filter, freshly cleaned and oiled
Bosch Premium Wires (installed last summer), and newer plugs
Brand new battery (previous failed, so replaced under warranty)
Upgraded Alternator, New. Warranty included
Gas tank refurbished and coated (lifetime warranty, $600 job)
Pacesetter Stainless Steel 6-1 ceramic-coated header
2.5" Stainless exhaust, into Flo-Pro muffler w/ tip(great Japanese sound, no fart-can)
3.90 LSD rear differential, newly flushed (May 2012)
Brand new BillyM Shiftgasm kit (replaces factory bushings, better than new shift feel)
Brakes/Steering:
Front end components were new when I purchased in 2010
Complete 5-bolt hub conversion
All new rear-end brakes:
Brembo Rotors
Cardone Calipers
Bendix Ceramic Brake Pads (Extra complete set, discontinued)
New Parking break shoes, hardware set
Suspension/Steering:
Celica short steering arms (gives it a tighter feel)
Tokico Blue's Shocks
Suspension Techniques lowering springs
16" Aluminum Mesh Rims
225/50-R16 General Exclaim UHP performance tires (only 7k on them), great tread
Rear sway bar links replaced
Interior:
All new speakers: 3.5" Clarion 2-ways, 4x6 Kicker 2-ways.
Mint condition all around. All panels and parts were compared with multiple other ones and the best parts were chosen to be put in.
Aftermarket pedals
TRD Leather shift knob, Hand-sewn leather shift boot
There is plenty that I am forgetting, but this is the list so far. I have receipts for almost everything that was done. I also have boxes upon boxes of spare parts in the garage, so depending on what you might want, I could include some stuff for sure. The reason I am selling is because I now have 2 1985 Supras, and would like to buy a winter car (these are summer only) I absolutely love working on cars, and have given this one so much love, but it's time for me to move on. Please feel free to ask me any questions about the car, and I would be happy to answer them. I have acquired vast knowledge of these cars, and can help you with anything.

I wondered who belonged to this car when it was on eBay - knew it had to be someone on CSforum. Looks like quality work. Good luck with the sale.

I explained that on a basic level in the interior section. The original seats had been covered with seat covers, sewn on, but they wore quickly, and the seats underneath weren't in great shape either. So I bought that 84 parts car, with a mint black interior, and grabbed the seats from it. Great shape, and I wasn't having to ship them cross-country.
Not to mention, '85 interior in an '82? Hypocrite much? Further stretch if you ask me. And I'm sure you know your cluster controls aren't '85 either. I certainly didn't post in your thread about this kind of thing, why do it to mine?

It sounds more agitated than it was. I assure you I was pretty calm. Just wanted to respond in a real way, with just a bit of sass :P He did bring up a very good point though, as I wasn't explicit about that in my ad.
