heres an engine swap project for the wicked
So think about this, you want major power, but to get that you have to swap for a 2jz or a 1uz. And those are just too mainstream, so now you're thinking what else can you swap. Be prepared. Imagine the lexus lfa v10 swapped into one of our celica supras... if only a motor can be found cheap. I was thinking about this passing a toyota dealer the other day, figured it'd be a good thread starter!

8.0's are too heavy though, cast iron block with aluminum heads, plus theyre really old on technology. Just imagine peoples faces, behold, a 1lrgue celica supra.

have you looked into the materials that lexus used in the LFA's engine? that sucker looks like it would be worth a pretty penny as Scrap metal. i dont think we are going to see one cheap for many many years. if ever. if i had to guess you could probably buy an LS(x) crate engine NIB for less than a used lexus V10.
would be so so epic though....The Supra is gone... What a fun project!

This is pretty much the same fucking thing..
I had a dream of putting a 5.7L Tundra v8 in, then realised... I'd be retarded.
6mgte if you're on a budget.
This if you're Jesus's chosen mechanic
And this if you want a LandCruiser V8

Otherwise. Yes, if I had unlimited money, I would do something cool... Like this - it bolts right on.
