Are there any Supras left in California

So, I'm from Toronto and just spent two weeks in California.

I was hoping to see all kinds of MKII's and MKIII's while I was in Cali.

I spent two weeks travelling from San Francisco to San Diego and I saw one Celica GTS - about an 84 and one MKIII that was a complete rat.

    What's up with that?

Are there any Supra's left in California.

Is this an indication that the Supra is destined to be history leaving us with nothing but fond memories?

    Very sad.

Emissions testing killed most of them here. Plenty of them out in the junkyards.

Many more are parked in driveways, wasteing away in the sun, hopeing to run again.
Mk2s are hard to find in the junkyards these days. Mk3s are plentyful there thou.

Well, then you'd be really shocked here in Texas. As bad as the rust is in Michigan, the sun is here in Texas. But at least rust can be patched with scraps of new sheet metal. When your vinyl, weatherstrip and trim is gone there's nothing you can do about it.

its getting harder and harder to find them at the junkyard now. Iv seen maybe one or two nice ones rolling around in my area, the rest are total junk yard ready mkii's.

Several nice ones in the Bay Area, but at this point, if you have a nice one, chances are it's not a daily driver, so you won't see them on the streets that often. I keep mine under a car cover most of the time since I had some paint and body work done.
