    Bogging down under throttle!??? No CEL! (video)



    Any suggestions?? According to the master 2jz wiring guru, its wired in exactly the way it should, OBD isnt throwing ANY codes!? wtfizzle man?..

    Huh you have no maf sensor hooked up. That could be a start. And does your cel turn on and off when you turn the key on? No maf you should throwing codes.

    VVT-i also I am assuming as the cam cover looks different than mine.

    85 P-Type, 5 spd, 2jzge, NGK Iridium Plugs, Megan Style Header, Magnaflow Muffler, 2 1/2 inch exhaust. ST Springs Tokico Blues, Cressida Brake Upgrade.

    I'd like to know who the "master 2JZ wiring guru" is myself.

    Is the harness from the same car as the engine? Are you using a scan tool to check for codes, or just jumping the check connector? CEL is verfied to work after the swap?

    Check for vacuum leaks around intake manifold.

    i doubt its a vac leak since its map based. could be a bad map sensor though. ill have to watch the vid when i get home. cant see them from work.

    It was a blown fuel pump relay! It revs like a BEAST now.. The master is Terry from Hype Racing in Fresno ca.. Hes the one who ORIGINALLY cracked the JDM 2jz wiring harness, and had the schimatics stolen, re drawn and posted for the world to use for free by some dick face who he tried to help... He double checked all the wiring today, and it was right on.. so he went on to checking relays, and BAM.. fuel relay was just giving enough power to idle...
