    NDT,

I know this is off topic...but i bought your old 83 a couple years ago..you should see it now..click the link in my sig if you gave a couple hours to read through it. The power its putting down is also in my sig. Nice job you did on the original swap with wiring...although its far far from that now.

nice job Jake, i been following up with your project since you got the car. i bought that from a original owner, the old couple with bhg on the 5mge. the car was solid. i didn't have time to put more power to that 83 yet, except for original 2jzgte swap. you know CA is a smog state and my car was due for smog check, also, my wife was about to giving birth to my first baby... so i was just all excited. i felt bad to let the car go but at least it falls into good hands..i love the mk2 style, i been looking for a clean one. that dyno you have is awesome., nice build and very clean. did you weld on the a/c pipe to have a/c working?? i had a/c wiring also done, but didn't weld those a/c pipes together yet. anyway, thanks for stop by the thread. i found a few good condition mk2s with low milages but it also automatic. therefore trying to look for a clutch/pedal set.

This car has an awesome history. The couple you got it from had every receipt all the way back to 1983 and I still have the 1" thick folder full of them including the original window sticker. It still is a solid car. Never parked outside, always garaged. I dont have the ac working yet. I did notice you left the lines on the ac compressor. I removed them and I have a complete custom set of ac lines ready to bolt on and charge it up.

When I bought the car from the guy you sold it to, he had the head gasket replaced and ARP studs installed. When they replace all that they didnt torque down the intake mani bolts and even left 1 or 2 out. So the 1st day I drove it in ABQ i blew the intake manifold gasket and the rear turbo all at once. So, the 2 year epic began that day. So I drove it once besides the test drive. I was so pissed off I just put it under a cover for awhile until I got motivated. About 15K-20K in mods later it is what it is now. What is that paint code for the color thats on it now? its a sweet color and I will have it repainted the same.

I may have another clutch pedal set that Ive been hoarding for awhile for my auto to manual swap on my dads 85 supra, but I may leave it auto for my daughter some day. Let me check and see if i have it stored still.

You need the whole thing for the swap...pedals, clutch reservoir, lines etc etc? you may also need the little bracket that supports the clutch pedal up on the firewall..auto cars wont have it. Ive done 2 auto to manual swaps.

i got the master, slave and other stuffs, just looking for a complete clutch/brake pedal with all original bolts, nuts and brackets. let me know if you want to can find your set and want to sell. i also contacted with others.
the paint code is on the firewall plate. that where i got it for the front bumper, rear hatch and bumper. cuz i like the 84-86 bumper style.
and yes... that is a nice color, it was fading a little bit when i got it ... but i pampered it. buffs twice and waxed a few..
