    Wtb: 5mge

Motor in my second MX73 is burning oil like no ones business, I need a replacement motor as I don't want to rebuild this one.

Let me know if you have one! thanks!

Also looking for Any sort of JZ motor with a 5 speed, this 5m would only be a temporary solution till I pick up a decent JZ setup.

    Yeah it's the those seals.

Shouldn't you take the head off, get it machined and replace everything if you are going to do seals? I don't wanna have to spend tons of money getting a 5m to run good, it's less money going towards a JZ.

If you know it's seals, no need for machining. You can replace valve stem seals without removing the head. You remove the cam towers and spark plugs, and do a cylinder at a time. You can use compressed air on the power stroke when the valves are closed (or use nylon rope fed through the spark plug hole, rotate engine to squish rope into closed valves to seal) and use a valve spring compressor to change the seals. New cam tower gaskets and seals, and you can get it done in a day or weekend. I haven't personally done it, but I read about it here. Rusty and another member did it to a new member's car in a parking lot in one day.
