Hello my name is Kimster, I live in sunny South Africa on the other side of the world
I have a 1985 toyota supra 2.8i that have rebored to 3.1 litre otherwise everything else is standard .I bought the car as a racing project but have decided to keep it on the road as its a real headturner . the car runs very well ,yet just recently have been having problems with the engine or electric ,not to sure . I have been reading alot on the car and have a good idea of how everything works ,yet this one beats my head .The car sounds like its got a miss ,like running on two cylinders , have checked the fuel and the spark and both are there, have checked the valve timing and same ,have tried alot but just dont seem to come right. any advise as to what it could be ,just something else ,when I remove the plug leads one by one while the motor is running 1,2,5,6 make a difference in the motor yet 3,4 dont ,have changed the plugs and checked that there is spark which there is .......

Any advise as to what it could be

Compression check time.
IF the compression checks out but there is still a miss on cyl-3/4, pull the throttle body, turn the key on, and push the AFM open (triggers the fuel pump).
You will want to look down into the intake manifold and verify the CSI is not leaking. ...when they fail (rare, but seen once before), they POUR fuel into 3/4 only.
