Sounds like you need to replace the rubber grommets/washers that hold the b pillar bolts on.

Could also be leaking rear side windows.

The answer about 10% of the time (takes lots of force to get water behind the B-pillar cover). More likely is a weld failure in the trough/gutter above the B-pillar. You need to clean the gutter with a thin brush (toothbrush or smaller), then look for a crack in the seam in the gutter. If you see a crack, weld or JB Weld, bitch to get at.

BTW, I do recommend pulling the B-Pillar cover to see if debris has built up behind it (leads to rust). Check the seals/plugs while you are at it. To pull, remove the front seatbelt connections (pop the round plug to gain access to the 14mm, then after the interior stuff is pulled, there are two 8mm deep well bolts that hold the cover on, plus some clips that will pop when you pry from the outside. I use a magnet to ensure I don't drop the 8mm nuts!) .

I agree with 83CELWA (Chris) - could also be the rear quarter window seal. Basically you should remove all the interior plastic stuff on that side and eyeball it.

I think it all depends where the seatbelts were wet. Was it in the area behind the b pillar where the belts are coiled or was it the part of the seatbelt where the buckle is that you grab? If thats the case, then it could be some water was able to get between the seal and the window. A good amount of water pressure in that and that can happen.

I 2nd (or is it 3rd now?) the rear quarter window seals. I even made a thread on it, how to diagnose and how to fix it. Involves pulling all of the exterior surrounding trim and B-pillar covers off. No leaks in mine since I fixed it. If left alone long enough, your rear passenger floors will get soaked and rust, and the carpet will smell.
