    81 MK1 5M-E Oil Pan needed

    Hello
I know this is the wrong forum but I need a n Oil Pan for my 81 MK1 with a 5M-E. Mine has a Divot at the bottom 6'oclock position, as you can hopefully see from the picture. It has not been a problem until now, it will not seal properly, I had been using a whasher with a seal in it but it still leaks, a alot. has anyone had this before? (I had on an MK2, had to replace oil pan with oem one)

The mastertech at work (Toyota) showed me to get a pry in there and gently straighten it out - it worked, no more leak for me.

I'll give it a try Toyota no longer has the pan in stock
Did you have to remove the pan or just use
an angled screwdriver or carefully use a flat tip one?

    I used something like this

Keep the pan on and just gently bend the bottom thread back out.

I pulled the dent out with a little tool I made and after two days it's not leaked anymore. Thanks for the help.
