Power steering delete question about smog

Hey just wondering about the power steering variable assist hose ports on the intake system how would I go about deleting or capping off these ports to pass smog visual tech and emissions?

You can buy vacuum caps at most auto parts stores. There's a variety pack if you're unsure of the size. I got mine at O'Reilly. I'm not sure how removing your power steering system will negatively affect your car's ability to pass emissions though.

The hoses in question arent tied to emissions... they give the engine more air so it doesnt die when the steering is a full lock...

I was lazy and stuck a bolt in the end of the hose for a while. But ghetto is now the new fad, yeah, it's all the rage. LOL

No, those hoses operate a valve in the power steering pump. It's a bypass valve that senses engine vacuum to only allow power assist when engine is at low RPM, such as parking lots. At higher RPM and lower vacuum, the power assist is bypassed to give the driver more steering "feel" at speed.

Well its never completely bypassed, just reduced. Its a 2 stage assist system basically.
