Got a winter AWD daily driver

I only drive the Supra in good weather and my other vehicle is an '88 Toy PU, 2WD. So, I scored a 92 Subaru SVX for an all weather daily driver

Got it today after checking out Craigs List for about 6 months looking for a clean example.

    First pictures

    It is pretty sweet!

Funny, I just bought myself a Subaru winter beater recently also. I was lurking Craig's list too and almost ended up with a RHD legacy or a XT6, sadly I parted with a loyle.

Sweet, Im also looking for a Subaru work/winter car. Very similar car at the local Subaru dealership, asking 6000, and its a little rough! Pricy cars.
Id like to find a nice impreza.

    Good luck in it.

I've always thought these things were cool when I saw one on a rare occasion. Nice find.

I just picked this little number up =). Not bad for $400

Has a BHG, but I will have that fixed wednesday. It's not that hard and the engine is know for BHGs like MKIII Piggies =P

But those cars are really rare, those rims remind my of the 2g talon rims.

Love the rear of the SVX, just be careful and take care of the tranny, heard they like to blow up. 220 horsepower flat six, and that tranny holds it back just as bad as an supra auto tranny, 5 speed swaps are expensive.

And i bought this for upcomming winter, no heat in the supra and no lsd is bad.

Hasn't rained in 2 months. I will see.

And the Top Gear test wasn't really a fair test.
