The oil pressure regulator is a chunk of metal that bolts into the back of the Timing Cover Case, just in front of #1 plug wire. So your request is, well, stupid. What you want is the SPRING inside the oil pressure regulator , that you really do not need either (um, also not obtainable anymore). [Discussion on late model Cressy spring tensions avoided]

If your oil pressure is reading low, odds are it is OK, the meter or sender is bad. I have low pressure readings on 2 of my Supras.

well I'd rather be safe then sorry, when the engines at operating temp the oil pressure gauge is at ZERO.
And I know exactly where it is and what it looks like, I pulled it off along with the whole top end of the engine for a rebuild.

why do you need a replacement? hone depot has an assortment of spring you can buy for a few bucks. otherwise online vendors can sell custom springz. if it's unavailable, take it apart and fix it!

The reason why I want it fixed is the engine shouldn't be run with out the proper oil pressure or it could result in damage. I'll take it apart then and see if I can match up a spring to fit, think i'll probably need a new gasket then to right away. All I know is I want to have it done for the 6th next month so I can drive it to the drift competition.

First off, you should hook up a cheap parts store mechanical gauge to your oil pressure port, to verify you have 0 pressure when warm. Sender/wiring/gauge could be bad-its very common. Secondly, the term "oil pressure regulator" is misleading at best. That part just "guarantees" a constant pressure to the hydraulic "lash adjusters"-It DOES NOT regulate overall engine oil pressure. If you do have 0 pressure when warm, as verified mechanically, you have worse issues than just replacing that part. Proper oil pressure, in a 5m, is provided by a healthy oil pump, and proper bearing tolerances.....
