Feeler ad: FS- 82 TC Supra

Hey guys... I will try and keep this short:
Just feeling out the market before winter arrives to sell my baby.
For now guys, it's more of a financial call. In college currently, driving the car back and fourth to work as well.
I need a reliable car. The Supra is... it starts and drives everyday... but maybe one day it won't.
Plus I might get into the mk3 or turbo mk2 world once I pay down some of my school debt. Of course I will need more money for that...
I will always be a mk2 fanatic. I promise I will be back soon. These cars are nice. Just not so much on a student's wallet.

The car is still bogging and I am in fear it could be something major. It runs and drives ok... just the bogging. Hope it's not a BHG.
Anyways, if it it this will be a nice project car.

    Body:
Rare TC. I will even include my 2.8 badge. LOL.
Fairly mint. Small patch in back corner... few scratches in the paint. But clean. Was painted probably 10 years ago... and always waxed.
Bumper and hatch could use some paint.
Comes with 2.8GT Celica XX badge I got from George ($90)

    Interior:
Better than what I got it. Clean TC upholstery finally... faded dash, everything else in great shape.
New back carpet. Clean door cards etc.
Just did a nice tint on it this summer ($300)

    Motor:
Original 5m 282kms on it. Chimp intake, Raptor 3 inch exhaust
Always filled up with 91 or 94 octane. AMS oil premium synthetic used.
Just changed plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Still boggs.
Oil is clean. Not burning anything... but my fresh coolant is looking a little brown. Very bummed about that.
Car still gets me to A and B ok though!
All new fluids from Toyota back in the spring of this year.
Could use a Billy M kit as it has some slop in the selector.

    Brakes:
All brand new Brembo's from George! Just put these on 2 months ago or so.
Brake fluid stays nice and full

I bought this car for 4100 2 years back. And since the motor isn't running right I know I'm in for a hit.
I can get it certified no problem.
If your good with changing a HG or diving into the 82 electronics it would make for a great car.
The paint and body is real nice.
    Best offer.

I know. But more of a $ thing now.
Got my 4runner to keep me going.

    And BTW...
Comes with lot's of extra parts. TC interior pieces, relays etc etc.
Tires were replaced 2-3 years ago along with the struts.
    Will include original intake too.

Or does anyone here think I can do a swap for under 4k. I mean... I would get a buddy to do the transplant and wiring etc.
I am not too mechanically inclined. If I can't do it... I will probably sell and save up.

Why don't you bring it to a shop and ask them to diagnose the bog? You never know it may be something really simple. Just my 2 cents

Where you getting a 5mgte?? I would love that. Another member or something?
But from what I have heard it's hard to do a swap under 4-5k. If I was better at mechanics I am sure I could do it... but will have a expert do it.

The 5m-gte is a 5m-ge with a turbo added. It's relatively easy to do. 7M-GTE manifold, turbo and a little work and you have a boosted 5M. It's been done a few times.
