    Diamond racing steelie question

Hey cs, I plan on ordering diamond racing steelies and i wanted to go 16x10, im sure I will have to roll my fenders but can anyone tell be what backspace offset etc to get? because I know I have to call to order them and I want everything to be right. And if anyone out there got 16x10s, did it work on the supra? im sure it would but just wanted to check, thanks!

really? no search skills? lol... there are so many threads on this, I know they're mostly 15s but I mean you're not too far off if you're doing 16s.

16x10 with -15mm offset should fit fine on the rear with 225/50-16s, the fronts you're on your own if you want to do 16x10s... you might be able to fit them if you do 205/50-16s or something like that, will be a stretch though but you won't rub all the time. I myself would do 16x8 or 9's with a zero offset or at least around -5 on the front.

IF you don't mind the skinny sizes (and getting ostricized by the purist on why stretched tires are unsafe and don't belong on a Supra) you could go with 205/50-16s all around... I went 225's on the rear because I wanted some meat with a little stretch.

Thats a good idea but i like the idea of some meat on them also, our cars are to big for small wheel tire setups lol...thats why I will do 16x10s. Stretch is safe, im not sure why people hate on it, ive drifted in cars with a very streched setup and it was just fine.

They do not make 9s anymore, when I ordered my 15s they said that they didn't make them.

Well my problem was my wheels were 15x10 with-25mm offset, the 225s just touched a tad when cornering which is why I suggested-15s, I only abandoned the project because the wheels were so damn heavy compared to what I had, then my current wheels came along and couldn't pass them up.

XXR's all the way dude, but the steelies are sweet it's your call. I ran 15x8 0 offset and they fit great, personally i wouldn't go past 9 wide.

This is for 15's of course, but this is what I have. Rears are 15x8 3.5'' backspacing, Fronts 15x8 5'' backspacing. If you don't get backspacing, it's just the measurement from the back of the mounting surface of the wheel to the edge. But to be honest I think I would rather have gotten 16s bc there are more tire options... My wheels fit great but I could have (and wish) gone with a 4'' backspacing on the front to make things completley flush and possibly even go 3'' on the rears depending on the rear camber setup. Hope this helps some. here are some pics:http://www.celicasupra.com/forums/sh...steelies/page3
And this is after I dropped the rear

Sorry my phone had shit on the lens.
